WoW Leatherworking Guide 1-525
This Leatherworking Guide (updated for patch 4.3) was made to help you level from 1-525 in the most efficient way possible. As with most professions, the last few levels can get to be a bit expensive to craft (especially if you buy most of your supplies off the auction house) so check out this Gold Guideto learn how to make tons of gold.
Leatherworking Introduction
To start you’ll have to go to a major city and find a leatherworking trainer (just ask a guard for directions). Once you find the trainer train "Apprentice Leatherworking” and you are ready to start!
The components needed for leatherworking are derived from skinning. If you don’t want to take on skinning as a profession you can buy everything you need to complete this guide in your local auction house.

The first hundred levels or so are quick and cheap to level up.
