Which faction do you like more? That's a big decision when making a new character and take your time, no rush. 
Do you care for aestethics? After all, you will stare at that toon from now on. 
Do you do PVE or PVP? Some races have racials that suit PVE more whilst others have racials that suit PVP more.

> Night Elf
Comes with Shadowmeld that allows you to stationary stealth until cancelled, a 2% reduced chance that melee and ranged attacks will hit you, Wisp Spirit upon death that increases movement speed from 50% to 75%, reduced chance to be detected while stealthed and an increase to speed while stealthed by 5% and a passive nature resistance that scales with level.

> Worgen
Comes with Darkflight that increases your movement speed by 40% for 10 sec (does share a CD with our Dash), a passive 1% to crit, a passive shadow and nature resistance that scales with level, increased Skinning by 15 (and speed of skinning) and Running Wild that serves as the Worgen "mount". 

> Tauren
Comes with War Stomp that stuns up to 5 enemies in a 8 yd radius for 2 sec, base health increased by 5%, increased Herbalism skill by 15 (and 
speed of Herb Gathering) and a passive nature resistance that scales with level.

> Troll
Comes with Berserking that increases attack and casting speed by 20% for 10 sec, health regeneration bonus increased by 10% and allows 10% of 
normal health to regen during combat, an increase to 5% damage when fighting beasts, increased critical chance with Throwing Weapons and Bows by 1% and a reduction to all movement slowing effects by 15%. Trolls be flippin' out mon!

Opener: 
Faerie Fire - Feral Charge - Mangle - Shred - Ravage - Tiger's Fury - Rake - Rip - Berserk
Priority: 1. Mangle target for 30% bleed dmg incrase.
2. Rip & Rake should be active 100% of fight time. 3. Shred - Main damage spell. 
4. Use Savage roar 1-2 combo points (if you have all active)
5. Use your brain, whole rotation sometimes must be changed.
A simplified approach to a cat feral rotation: Apply (and refresh as needed) Mangle (may be omitted if another person applies a similar effect, e.g. feral druid tank). Apply (and refresh as needed) Rake. Do you have 5 combo points on the target? Yes -> Apply (or refresh as needed) Rip. Yes AND Rip is already ticking on the target -> Use (or refresh as appropriate) Savage Roar. Yes AND Rip is already ticking on the target AND target is below 25% health -> Use Ferocious Bite. No -> Shred for combo points. Use Tiger's Fury whenever you're dropping below 50 rage and Berserk on cooldown.

Happily, a perfectly itemized BiS weapon drops from the first boss in Bastion, and a solid alternative drops from the first boss in Blackwing Descent. Magmaw is very puggable, and Halfus is close to it. (Note that Akirus is a strength weapon, so while it’s an upgrade from a 346 blue, it’s a much better upgrade for strength-based classes. Don’t be greedy.)

Do you feel lucky, punk? (And by punk, I mean all you new troll druids. Get a haircut.)  The tier piece is BiS here, and is the best value/pt for your VP; of course, if you buy it and it drops off Argaloth next week, you’ll be ever-so-slightly annoyed. :). Wind Stalker’s can be pretty good if you get the right random enchants (plus it’s the only legs piece with a red socket), but I’ll still prefer tier here.

Basically, you want H Tia’s and one of  Unsolvable Riddle, H Eye, or H Key to start raiding, and look to upgrade  your offset trinket to Fluid Death or one of the epic proc trinkets.  Don’t use strength trinkets unless you have no other option. (Yes, these  need links, I’ll get to it eventually.) There are several trinket  changes coming in the patch, which I’ll be analyzing in the future.
